Guitar Capo - Hamilton USA Vintage (w/interesting history). Shipped with USPS First Class Package.
So - I was 12 years old and starting to play the guitar. I took a ride one day with my Dad who was a musician - he said he had to stop at his friend's house (a bass playing musician that he worked with a lot) in Queens, NY to drop off some musical arrangements. When we got there they were talking, and the bass player's son was there visiting - he was 12 years older than me. He was playing his Guild acoustic guitar in the dining room, and had this metal thing on the neck that I had never seen before. I told him that I was starting to play the guitar. He asked me if I knew how to fingerpick and I said no. He said - you can probably do it - I'll show you. And he did. I asked him what that metal thing was - and he said it was a called a capo - and that it raised up the key but still allowed you to play all the cool open string stuff. Then it was time to go - I told him that I would go buy a capo - and he said that he would just give me that one - he said he had a bunch more at home.
I though all that was cool.
Even cooler because - it was Paul Simon!
And this is that capo - I found it in a box of old stuff of mine that was in my Dad's old apartment.
