This is a New matake bamboo flute - shakuhachi.
1.3 Shakuhachi -  w. Root End,
natural standard shakuhachi mouthpiece.

Shakuhachi is pentatonic -- 5 notes
This shakuhachi features very thick, heavy body -
robust body w. circumference as follows:
4 3/8 inches (2 inch up above the bottom)
3  15/16 inches (in between hole # 3 & 4)
3  7/8 nches (2 inches down from the top)
Bore : 20 mm (Top)   17 mm (Bottom)
weight: 268 g /  15.5 inches in length
