You are bidding on a wonderful VINTAGE RECORDER that was MADE IN GERMANY. This C-SOPRANO RECORDER is from HOHNER, a company founded in Trossingen, Germany in 1857. This SOLID WOOD, beautifully crafted recorder has 2 pieces, the body and the head. It comes with the ORIGINAL FINGERING CHART, BOX, AND CLEANING BRUSH. Included with this item is a GERMAN SONGBOOK (Flötenbüchlein für die Schule zum Singen und Spielen = Flute booklet for school to sing and play) and Mel Bay's "FUN WITH THE RECORDER", a beginner's book of lessons and songs.
This recorder was GENTLY USED and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with NO SCRATCHES, DENTS, CHIPS, OR OTHER IMPERFECTIONS. The box does show wear from age and storage. Both books are VERY CLEAN with NO MARKS OR WRITING.
